Inspired by materials and the possibilities they present, Paul Townsin approaches each project with an open mind. Working across disciplines, including lighting, furniture, object and exhibition design as well as the built environment, he prefers to allow the design process determine the most appropriate response. Enjoying the challenging of such an approach, he aims to work in a thoughtful, responsible manner while pushing the boundaries of possibility.

Townsin’s Me & Me Too lighting collection of was one of the top 11 national finalists in Launch Pad 2013 and received a commendation in the concept category of Vivid Furnitex 2013. The full range was also exhibited in The Edge, Sydney’s 2014 Decoration + Design industry trade show design competition.

Townsin’s work is stocked at Aptos Cruz in the Adelaide Hills and he regularly undertakes bespoke commissions and custom design.
