Bohie Palecek

Drawing, Illustration, Painting, Teaching, Wall work, Sign Writing

Sign writer and graphic designer, Bohie Palecek has an impressive portfolio. Her hand painted signage can be found on windows, doors, chalkboards and food trucks across Adelaide and up and down the east coast. She has an extensive list of local, national and international clients for which she has created brand identities, custom lettering, large-scale murals, original illustrations, packaging and t-shirt graphics, and her work has been exhibited and published in Australia, Canada, America and the UK.

With a strong appreciation for the handmade, Palecek felt the need to step away from computers after studying graphic design and spent time learning the art of signwriting. Today she prefers employing traditional methods and describes her practice as ‘a harmonious balance between work and play’. Enjoying the process of collaborating with her clients, Palecek produces unique, finely crafted work with a quality and authenticity that reflects her passion for her trade.
