City Adelaide Prize 2018 | Oxigen

Voting for the People’s Choice award for the City of Adelaide Prize 2018 are now open. This prize recognises projects that bring the streets and spaces of our city to life. Among this year’s nominees are Oxigen for 84 Halifax and the O-Bahn City Access Project. Voting is open until 30 April.

Miller | James Dodd

James Dodd’s solo exhibition Miller is now showing at Hugo Michell Gallery. This show features luminous paintings of swirls and trails created via the Painting Mill, a machine constructed by Dodd to experiment with and produce paintings. You can read more about the exhibition and Dodd’s practice on our blog.

Exhibition runs 22 March – 28 April.

Table Rock Surf Centre | Sauerbier House Culture Exchange

‘An un-comprehensive exhibition of real and imagined South Australian wave riding history.’ Table Rock Surf Centre by Artist in Residence Henry Jock Walker is now showing at Sauerbier House Culture Exchange. Many of the works are made in collaboration with other creatives, including Well Made practitioner Tristan Kerr.

Exhibition runs 24 March – 28 April. 

BioPak’s BioCup Art Series | Dana Kinter

Dana Kinter’s beautiful artwork When It’s Dark Enough You Can See The Stars is a new addition to BioPak’s BioCup Art Series. Every three months BioPak print artwork from Australian and New Zealand artists on their sustainable paper cups. Keep an eye out for this beauty.

Bowerbird | Well Made stallholders

Bowerbird has released the stallholders for their May markets. We’re excited to see Well Made practitioners Bay, Kitty Came Home, Robyn Wood Studio, Matt Pearson and Michelle Driver as part of the line up. Bowerbird is being held 4- 6 May. Mark it in your calendars!
